project description: Pairing erotic Polaroid photographs and written narrative testimonials, this project explores negotiations of contemporary queer sexual and political cultures in the United states and Canada. Forging a creative prevention practice nearly three decades since the AIDS crisis began and after our generation has been told AIDS is over is a complex project. This work is built around actual lived negotiations of pleasure and violence that structures queer life and attempts to complicate the ways we talk about risk and desire.
