project description: with the demise of the Defense of Marriage Act just days before the 2013 gay pride festivities were set to go off in the united states, many gays and lesbians made the celebration of holy matrimony a central theme. meanwhile, in a fit of depression and anger, i churned out these posters to pay homage to homocult‘s iconoclastic posters from the 1990s and to intervene in the misguided celebration in some small way.
